The team at Calvey Marine Ltd were shocked and saddened to hear of the recent passing of friend and industry journalist, “Mr Shiprepair”, Alan Thorpe last week. Alan was a true credit to the ship repair industry who will be dearly missed by so many; his charisma, wit and work to connect everyone in the industry globally will no doubt be a lasting legacy. Our thoughts and respects are with his family and close friends at this time.
